Poe von Edgar is a gorgeous 4-5 year old German Shepherd. This engaging boy will initiate eye contact with his person with such expressiveness, you'll be drawn into a full-blown conversation with him before you know it! He takes his Shepherd-ness seriously and can be protective of his person. He will need a confident owner so he won't feel the need to be quite as vigilant. Poe will excitedly join you on walks, eager to show off his great leash manners. He ignores other dogs passing by on his outings, and does fine in playgroups at the rescue, but will do best as your one and only devoted dog in the home. That he's house-trained and knows basic commands is just icing on the cake for this impressive boy! Come and meet your next best friend!
